To start us off, here’s my (probably) final design for co-protagonist Jane Cato. Jane has completed the requisite six years of secondary magical studies and is now classified as a journeyman mage, although she has yet to distinguish herself whatsoever in her field of study. She is the only heir to the esteemed Cato lineage, and is carrying on her family’s legacy of war magic, despite a great deal of advice to the contrary. An informal survey of Jane’s professors and peers suggests that Jane’s most appealing personal quality is being very, very wealthy.

TFE has been a little slow as of late; sorry! But here’s an exciting (?) announcement:

I’m currently working on a long-form, fantasy setting webcomic! ETA is early/midsummer. For the next couple of months, I’ll be posting concept art, character designs, etc. This project is hesitantly titled “Westward,” and should hopefully be a lot less lame than the “long-form fantasy webcomic” description implies.
